9G - Silvano, I2YSB, and the Italian DXpedition Team will be active from Abokwa Island (AF-084), Ghana, sometime during March/April 2026. Details will be announced in due course.
J5 - Team J51A (namely Bavarian Contest Club's members Ben DA1DX, Win DK9IP, Andree DL8LAS, Uli DM5EE and Lutz DM6EE) will be active from Bubaque Island (AF-020), Guinea-Bissau sometime in February/March 2026. KC4 - Rikk, WE9G, plans to be active as WE9G/KC4 from the Palmer Peninsula, Antarctica sometime between 30 January and 3 February 2026, "including one overnight stay". QSL via Club Log's OQRS, or via home call.
PJ2 - Andre, PD1DRE, will be active again as PJ2/PD1DRE from Curacao (SA- 099) between 26 January and 4 March 2026. He operates SSB and FT8/FT4. QSL via eQSL.
PY - Celebrating the the Liga de Amadores Brasileiros de Radio Emissao's 92nd anniversary, 28 special callsigns - representing LABRE and the 27 Brazilian federative units (26 states and one federal district) - will be active on 1-28 February 2026: ZV1ES (Espirito Santo), ZV1RJ (Rio de Janeiro), ZV2DF (Distrito Federal), ZV2GO (Goias), ZV2LB (LABRE), ZV2SP (Sao Paulo), ZV2TO (Tocantins), ZV3RS (Rio Grande do Sul), ZV4MG (Minas Gerais), ZV5PR (Parana), ZV5SC (Santa Catarina), ZV6BA (Bahia), ZV6SE (Sergipe), ZV7AL (Alagoas), ZV7CE (Ceara), ZV7PB (Paraiba), ZV7PE (Pernambuco), ZV7RN (Rio Grande do Norte), ZV8AC (Acre), ZV8AM (Amazonas), ZV8AP (Amapa), ZV8MA (Maranhao), ZV8PA (Para), ZV8PI (Piaui), ZV8RO (Rondonia), ZV8RR (Roraima), ZV9MS (Mato Grosso do Sul), ZV9MT (Mato Grosso). The activation will cover all bands and modes, and satellite communications. Cerficates will be available on https://live.hampass.com/labre-92; paper QSL cards will not be issued.
RI1F - Members of the Russian DXpedition Team will be active as RI1FJL From Heiss Island (EU-019), Franz Josef Land in September. On 25 August 2026, six operators (R2DVE, R7AL, RA4DX, RW8A, RW9JZ and UA3QLC) will set off from Murmansk; depending on the weather and sea conditions, the voyage will take six to seven days. Plans are to be QRV on 160-10 metres CW, SSB and FT8 (MSHV) with at least five high-power stations for 15 days. QSL via Club Log's OQRS. S2 - The Next Generation DX Club will be active as S21WD from IOTA group AS-140, Bangladesh for 12 days in late March 2026. Six operators (DJ4MX, DK6SP, DL3ON, M0SDV, S21ABO, and S21TV) will be active on 160-10 metres CW, SSB, RTTY, and FT8 (MSHV) with up to five stations. In addition, activity via the QO-100 satellite is planned using CW, SSB, and FT4. Provided that the on-site internet connection is available and stable, all QSOs will be live-streamed on Club Log and uploaded to LoTW daily. QSL via Club Log's OQRS (preferred), or via DJ4MX. T8 - The following operators plan to be active on various bands and modes from Koror (OC-009), Palau between 28 and 31 January 2026: 7K4TKB as T88YL, JA1MEJ as T88MT, JA1MFR as T88KY, JI1JRE as T88MH, JO3LVG as T88MK, JR3QFB as T88JH . QSL via operator's instructions.
V3 - Walt, W0CP, as V31DJ (CW and SSB) and his wife Mary, K0ZV, as V31DK
(FT8 and FT4) will be active again from Placencia, Belize on 1-27 February 2026. Look for them on 160-10 metres. QSL V31DJ via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW, or direct to W0CP; QSL V31DK via Club Log's OQRS, LoTW, or direct to K0ZV.
V4 - Once again John, W5JON will be active as V47JA from St. Kitts (NA-
104) from 30 January to 3 February. He will operate SSB and FT8 on
various bands. QSL via LoTW, or direct only to W5JON.
VE - VO2LAB/VY0 is a remote station operated by WB2REM and currently active from Iqaluit on Baffin Island. QSOs will be posted to LoTW, QRZ and Club Log; paper QSL cards are not available.
VK - Reminder: under a permanent agreement with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), all Australian radio amateurs may use the alternative AX callsign prefix instead of VK on Australia Day (26 January 2026), ANZAC Day (25 April 2026), and World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (17 May 2026).
VK0 - Tom, VK2TBC will be active as VK0TBC from Casey Station, Antarctica
between February and December. He will operate SSB and FT8 in his
spare time. Updates will be posted to https://vk2tbc.com/.
VP2E - Rick, W4IO, will be active holiday style as VP2EIO from Anguilla (NA-022) on 24-31 January 2026. He will operate FT8 and some SSB on 80-10 metres. QSL via LoTW, or direct to home call.
VU7 - The AU7RS DXpedition to Agatti (AS-011), Lakshadweep Islands is now set to take place on 8-14 February 2026. Plans are for five operators (VU2RS, VU24DX, VU29AR, VU3DXA, and VU3GDS) to be active on 160-6 metres (SSB, CW and FT8), and via QO-100. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS. KP5/NP3VI: FT8 INSTRUCTIONS ---> Always call with your grid square first. Calls that begin with a signal report will be filtered out by the system and will not be answered. Also note that callsigns containing a forward slash ( / ) will be rejected automatically, as the software does not support QSOs between two non-standard callsigns. Last but not least, do not forget that KP5/NP3VI is "always MSHV, never F/H".
