                            3Y0K: THE BAND PLAN
                (as published on https://3y0k.com/#bandplan)

Norwegian band plan and IARU Region 1  shall apply.  The following band plan
is contingent on frequency availability at the time we are QRV. We will have
a  strong focus  on the  human modes, but  digital mode strategies  are also
being planned.

Band    CW      SSB     FT8 (kHz)        Band     Mode
------------------------------
--         ---------------
160m    Free    N/A     1836             160m   CW/FT8
80m     Free    N/A     3567             80m    CW/FT8
60m     Free    N/A     5357             60m    CW/FT8
40m     Free    Free    7090             40m    All mode
30m     Free    Free    10131            30m    CW/FT8
20m     Free    Free    14090            20m    All mode
17m     Free    Free    18095            17m    All mode
15m     Free    Free    21090            15m    All mode
12m     Free    Free    24911            12m    All mode
10m     Free    Free    28090            10m    All mode
                                         SAT    QO-lOO

Notes:
- "Free" means operator selects QRG
- "N/A" means no transmission planned
- Operating modes: CW, SSB, FT8
- No FT4 will be used
- RTTY may be offered late in the DXpedition
- 60m band may be operated on late in the DXpedition
- For FT8 mode use only the specified frequencies and F/H mode
- NO TX on lowest 10 kHz spectrum on regular bands to allow regular DX
  traffic
- NO TX on lowest 5 kHz on WARC bands to allow regular DX traffic
- CW MAX 20 kHz split (operators choose QRG)
- SSB MAX 30 kHz split (operators choose QRG)
- Logs will be uploaded to M0OXO max once per day/second day

NO TX PORTION OF BANDS.  We understand that there  will be  other DXers  out
there during our expedition,  so to respect  those other DXers  we  will not
transmit in these portions of the bands:
Band      CW (kHz)
-------------------
160m    1810-1815
80m     3500-3510
40m     7000-7010
30m     10100-10105
20m     14000-14010
17m     18068-18073
15m     21000-21010
12m     24890-24895
10m     28000-28010

DQRM STRATEGY. This strategy may only be implemented if the DQRM is very bad
and slows down our QSO rate significantly.
Normal CW/SSB pileup handling is listening UP 1 kHz on CW and 5 kHz on SSB.
DQRM strategy is to work SIMPLEX on all bands  within a 20 kHz bandwidth for
CW and 30 kHz for SSB:
Band      CW (kHz)      SSB (kHz)
------------------------------
----
80m      3510-3530         N/A
40m      7010-7030      7120-7150
30m     10105-10125        N/A
20m     14010-14030    14160-14190
17m     18073-18088    18130-18160
15m     21010-21030    21160-21190
12m     24895-24910    24940-24970
10m     28010-28030    28320-28350
We will work simplex or "contest mode"  within the 20 kHz window in CW.  For
example, operate SIMPLEX between 14010 and 14030 kHz.
In DQRM mode - we do S&P within a specified window like in any contest.
All stations are calling SIMPLEX.  3Y0K tunes across the simplex window  and
works stations SIMPLEX.

C3 QSL BUREAU: NEW MAILING ADDRESS ---> Per an agreement  between the Union de Radioaficionados Espanoles (URE)  and the  Unio de Radioaficionats Andorrans (URA), the  URE QSL Bureau  has officially taken over the management of QSL traffic for Andorra. Effective 18 February, all QSL cards for URA member stations (C3) should be sent to the following address:
URE - QSL Service
Avda. Monte Igueldo 102
28053 Madrid
Spain
DESECHEO 2026 ---> On 27 February, after 46 days of operation, KP5/NP3VI has reached a significant milestone:  100,000+ QSOs  logged  with nearly 19,500 unique callsigns. "This achievement marks several important firsts in DXpedition history: (1) the first fully solar-powered major DXpedition to achieve 100,000 QSOs;  (2) the first major DXpedition to reach 100,000 QSOs  operating  exclusively low power;  (3) a  rare entity  activation  conducted  under strict  U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service environmental regulations;  (4) continuous operation  of  a Remote Deployment Unit powered entirely by solar energy and battery storage; (5) a focused operating strategy emphasizing All-Time New Ones (ATNOs). This DXpedition demonstrates that  high-impact results  can be achieved with
minimal environmental footprint": https://www.facebook.com/61585525894897.

WRTC.INFO ---> The World Wide Radio Operators Foundation (WWROF) has assumed
responsibility for WRTC.info (https://wrtc.info/),  the long-standing community website  dedicated to  preserving the  history of the  World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC).  Over the years WRTC.info has become the most comprehensive publicly accessible record of WRTC events,  documenting more than three decades of radiosport history through  event descriptions, participant accounts, images, and statistics.  WWROF is seeking a small group of volunteers willing to help sustain WRTC.info going forward:

YOTA CONTEST 2026 ---> Organized by the IARU R1 Youth Working Group  in  co-
operation with the  Hungarian Amateur Radio Society (MRASZ),  the aim of the
YOTA Contest is  to increase youngsters activity on the air,  strengthen the
reputation of the  YOTA programme, and  demonstrate  support  for youngsters
across the world.  The three sessions  of this year's  YOTA Contest  will be
held on 15 March (10:00-22:00 UTC), 19 July (10:00-22:00 UTC), and 28 Decem-
ber (10:00-22:00 UTC),  on the five classic bands CW and SSB.  Everyone  can
work everyone. See https://yotacontest.mrasz.org for the complete rules.

+ SILENT KEY + Lada Prajsner, OK2PAY passed away on  21 February. "Lada was
truly one of the giants of our hobby", Mark Wohlschlegel, WC3W says. "A remarkable operator and competitor,  he achieved what few ever will - becoming a ten-time World Winner of the DX Marathon CW category,  while also earning numerous world-class  CW championship honors throughout his distinguished amateur radio career. His skill, dedication, and consistency set a standard admired across the global  DX  community.  Yet  beyond  the  extraordinary achievements and scores was something even more meaningful. Lada represented the very spirit of DXing - patience, excellence in CW operation, fairness,
and a lifelong passion  for connecting people across borders through radio":
