SV5 - Ο Claudio, HB9OAU, θα είναι ενεργός (active) ως SV5/HB9OAU από τη νήσο Κάρπαθο, στα Δωδεκάνησα (EU-001) από 13-25 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025. Θα εκπέμπει σε SSB και CW, στα 40-6 μέτρα. QSL via LoTW, eQSL, or direct to home call.
3C0 - Ενώ περιμένουν να αναχωρήσουν για το Annobon Island (AF-039), στην Ισημερινή Γουινέα (ΚΔ Αφρική) [425DXN 1788], ο YL2GM και ο EA5EL ήταν ενεργοί (active) ως 3C3W από το Bioko Island (AF-010), από 1 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025. Ο στόχος τους είναι να είναι QRV από το Bioko μέχρι τις 5 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025 και μετά να πετάξουν στο Annobon (3C0W) την επόμενη ημέρα. QSLs via Club Log's OQRS (προτιμώμενο) ή direct to YL2GN. 9M2 - Ο Jacek, SP5APW, θα είναι ενεργός (active) με το callsign TBA από το Tioman Island (AS-046), στη Δυτική Μαλαισία, από 9-16 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025. Θα επικεντρωθεί στα 6 μέτρα, αλλά δεν αποκλείει δραστηριότητα και στα HF. QSL via Club Log's OQRS.
G - Γιορτάζοντας την 45η επέτειο του πρώτου Camel Trophy, ο special event station GB45CT θα είναι ενεργός (active) από 12-14 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025, κυρίως στα 40 και 20 μέτρα SSB. GM - Ο Willie, GM4ZNC, θα είναι ενεργός (active) σε holiday style ως GS8VL από το Isle of Coll (EU-008), στις Εβρίδες (δυτικά της Σκοτίας) από 7-12 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025. Θα εκπέμπει σε CW, SSB και σε digital modes στα 40-6 μέτρα. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS. [TNX The Daily DX].

HZ - HZ95ND, 7Z95ND and 8Z95ND are the special callsigns for the Saudi Amateur Radio Society (HZ1SAR) to celebrate Saudi National Day on 4-23 September 2025. QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log. Based on the number of lunar years, Saudi National Day commemorates the renaming of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (23 September 1932).
National societies from Gulf Cooperation Council's neighbouring countries are expected to join the celebrations and be active around 23 September 2025, including the Bahrain Amateur Radio Society (A91ARS), the Kuwait Amateur Radio Society (9K9KSA), the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society (A43KSA) and the Emirates Amateur Radio Society (A60ARS).
JA - Once again Taka, JA8COE, will be active as JA8COE/8 from Yagishiri Island (AS-147) on 4-8 September 2025. He will operate CW, SSB and FT8 on the HF bands and 6 metres (WWL QN04qk). QSL Club Log's OQRS, or via home call.
JW - Tom, OH6VDA (LA6VDA) will be active again as JW6VDA from the Svalbard Amatorradioklubb in Longyearbyen (EU-026) on 12-22 September 2025. Activity will be on various HF bands using SSB and FT8/FT4. QSL via Club Log's OQRS (preferred), LoTW, eQSL, QRZ Logbook, or via the bureau to OH6VDA. Do not send direct QSLs by mail.
LX - LX25GDH (3 September-3 October) and LX25GDG (3 October-3 November 2025) are the special callsigns for Radioamateurs du Luxembourg (RL, Luxembourg's IARU society) to mark the "Trounwiessel" - the accession to the throne of Prince Guillaume, who is set to become Grand Duke on 3 October upon the abdication of his father the Grand Duke
Henri. QSL via Club Log's OQRS.
OX - Bo, OZ1DJJ, will be active again as OX3LX from Nuuk, Greenland (NA-018) between 4 and 16 September 2025. One or two day trips to IOTA group NA-220 are possible. As always, this will be a working trip, and he will be QRV only in his spare time. QSL via OZ0J, Club Log's OQRS and LoTW.
V7 - John, K5GDE, has been active as V73JW from Kwajalein (OC-028), Marshall Islands since mid-July, and expects to be there until mid-January 2026. He operates mainly FT8 on 40-10 metres. QSL via LoTW, or direct to John Wiley, PSC 701 Box 495, APO AP 96555, USA. [TNX The Daily DX]

CLUB LOG ---> "The brand new Club Log server (c/o NCDXF) is now in the data centre, and I have finished configuration work to make it ready", G7VJR has announced. All services will be stopped early on 6 September, and Club Log will be down while the database migrates from the current primary server. Michael expects it will take a few hours to restore service. "Look for a noticeable leap in performance" when the migration is completed.
DX UNIVERSITY ---> Established in 2011, The DX University is a multi-media program offering information, instruction and varied learning opportunities for DXers and DXpeditioners alike. The DX University has presented in-person sessions at several conventions. The DX University website is part of the DXU program. The site has been re-

IOTA NEWS ---> The logs for the IOTA Contest 2025 island stations have now been added to the IOTA database and are available for QSO matching. Recordholders who have made IOTA contacts in an IOTA contest after 2003, can claim credit for them without submitting QSLs, provided that the contact details match. + SILENT KEY + Kirsti Jenkins-Smith, VK9NL passed away on 30 August at home on Norfolk Island, aged 89. She operated alongside her late husband, Jim Smith (VK9NS), and was involved in several DXpeditions. She authored two books: "Heard Island Odyssey" (1985) tells the complete story of the perilous VK0JS DXpedition to Heard Island in 1983, while "QRV. A DXer's Life for Me" (1994) is a personal account sharing her experiences and adventures as a DXer.
