SV - Το SZ40A είναι το special callsign της Radio Amateur Association of Western Greece (SZ1A) για τον εορτασμό των "40 χρόνων συνεχούς παρουσίας, υπηρεσίας και συνεισφοράς στον ραδιοερασιτεχνισμό". DL - Το DA26WARD είναι το special callsign της DARC Team SES για την προώθηση της Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας Ραδιοερασιτεχνισμού (World Amateur Radio Day) από 1 Μαρτίου έως 30 Απριλίου 2026. QSL via LoTW, DK5ON και DCL (DARC Community Logbook). Η WARD γιορτάζεται κάθε χρόνο στις 18 Απριλίου, την ημέρα που δημιουργήθηκε η IARU το 1925. Το θέμα (theme) για την εφετινή WARD είναι "Προωθώντας το Πνεύμα του Ραδιοερασιτεχνισμού μέσω της Καινοτομίας ("Advancing the Spirit of Amateur Radio Through Innovation").

LZ - Το LZ75HSC είναι το special callsign για τα μέλη της Bulgarian HSC που γιορτάζουν την 75η επέτειο του Radio Telegraphy Highspeed Club (HSC) μέχρι το τέλος της χρονιάς. QSL via LZ2JE. YJ - Aki, JK1JXZ, will be active as YJ1JXZ from Port Vila (OC-035), Vanuatu from 15 March to 3 April 2026. He will be QRV on 80-6 metres, after 17 local time during weekdays and all day during the weekends.
ZC4 - The 4-11 March ZC4C and ZC4Z operation from the UK SBA on Cyprus [425DXN 1817] has been cancelled at the very last minute due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. "We have no problem using radio in the area", the team says, "but we can't physically get there".
ZF - Colin, G4CWH, will be active as ZF2CA from the Cayman Islands (NA-016) on 12-17 March 2026, with main activity during the Commonwealth Contest. Outside the contest he will be "on most bands and modes". QSL via home call.
YL WORLD WIDE AWARD 2026 ---> "The YL World Wide Award is the first international radio project aimed at bringing together the largest number of Young Ladies worldwide in a single event. Born from the experience of the World Wide Award team during three years of organizing WWA, we decided to organize a worldwide radio event dedicated to ham-radio women". The YL WWA takes place on 9-15 March 2026, with activity on 80-10 metres CW, SSB, DIGI (FT8, FT4, RTTY, PSK). More than 220 YL operators from 45 DXCC Entities are expected to take part in the event. BOUVET 2026 ---> Team 3Y0K has been QRV from Bouvet Island on multiple bands since 1 March. Depending on weather, operations are expected to continue until 18 or 20 March. QSOs are being uploaded to M0OXO's OQRS, as well as to Club Log (https://clublog.org/charts/?c=3Y0K): "the team leaders have opted against using real-time livestreaming, as unreliable internet connections were causing data corruption during uploads"). According to https://www.m0oxo.com/oqrs/logsearch.php, as of 5 March at 19:16 UTC, 3Y0K had made 24,180 QSOs (56% on FT8) with 12,476 unique callsigns. A SuperFox key has been issued; however, the team has decided to continue using Fox & Hound on FT8.
COMMONWEALTH CONTEST ---> The 89th edition of the Commonwealth (BERU) Contest (https://berucontest.wordpress.com) will be held on 14-15 March, from 10:00 UTC to 10:00 UTC, on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m CW. Only stations operating from the Commonwealth Call Areas may participate in this contest.
