“OY operation confirmed 30th March 2017 – 6th April. Flights, hire car and ‘summer house’ booked on the east of the islands near the sea and not too many mountains blocking signals to the west. Finding a good ‘all round’ location was a challenge as the islands have some steep and high mountains.
This a single operator dxpedition and I plan to be active on HF bands including 160m (but not 60m). Operation will be CW and SSB using a KX3 and 200W amplifier with Spiderpole and wire antennas. I will update LotW and eQSL during the trip internet access permitting”. Wikipedia.
